The SENT Course
The SENT Course is a comprehensive evangelism and discipleship training designed to equip followers of Jesus Christ to confidently share the Gospel, make disciples, and faithfully live out the Great Commission.
Whether you've never shared your faith before or have years of experience in evangelism, The SENT Course provides practical, biblical training that will help you grow in confidence, compassion, and obedience to Christ.
What Is The SENT Course?
The SENT Course is a twelve-session training experience created by The Street Evangelism Ministry to equip the body of Christ for the work of evangelism.
Each session combines sound biblical teaching with practical application helping participants move beyond just learning about evangelism to actively living it out.
Our desire is to help every believer understand the Gospel clearly, communicate it faithfully, answer common questions with grace, and develop a lifestyle of making disciples.
The course is designed for:
- New believers
- Mature Christians
- Church members
- Small groups
- Ministry leaders
- Anyone who desires to grow in sharing their faith
No previous evangelism experience is required.
Why The SENT Course Exists?
Jesus didn't call only a few people to share the Gospel--He commissioned every believer to make disciples.
Yet many Christians sincerely want to share their faith but feel held back by fear, uncertainty, or a lack of practical training.
The SENT Course exists to bridge that gap.
Our mission is to train, equip, and encourage followers of Jesus Christ so they can confidently proclaim the Good News wherever God has placed them.
Throughout the course, participants will:
- Develop confidence in sharing the Gospel.
- Learn practical evangelism skills.
- Understand key biblical truths.
- Overcome fear and anxiety.
- Grow in dependence on the Holy Spirit.
- Learn how to disciple new believers.
- Discover how to make evangelism part of everyday life.
This isn't just another Bible study.
It's practical discipleship with the goal of helping believers faithfully obey Christ's command to make disciples of all nations.

Each session includes biblical teaching, practical demonstrations, discussion, and opportunities to put what you've learned into practice through Sent Saturday outreach.

How The Course Works
The SENT Course is taught during our monthly First Friday gatherings.
Each First Friday includes:
- A shared meal
- Fellowship with other believers
- Worship and prayer
- Practical evangelism training
- Interactive discussion
- Question-and-answer time
- Encouragement
- Preparation for the following day's Sent Saturday outreach
The next morning, participants are invited to join Sent Saturday, where they can immediately apply what they've learned by serving alongside experienced outreach teams.
This monthly rhythm allows believers to learn on Friday and practice on Saturday.

Every participant receives access to The SENT Course Workbook
The workbook includes:

A Course That's Growing Alongside Our Ministry
The SENT Course is currently under active development.
While our monthly First Friday gatherings already provide practical evangelism training and Sent Saturday gives participants the opportunity to immediately put that training into practice, we're continually learning, refining, and improving the course with each month that passes.
Every First Friday discussion, every Sent Saturday outreach, and every conversation with participants helps us identify what encourages new believers most and what practical training best prepares them to confidently share the Gospel.
Our desire isn't just to create another evangelism class.
Our vision is to build a comprehensive discipleship experience that faithfully equips the body of Christ to make disciples for years to come.
Our Vision for the Future
As The Street Evangelism Ministry continues to grow, so will The SENT Course.
Our long-term vision is to develop The SENT Course into a comprehensive 12- week discipleship experience that churches, ministries, and individual believers can participate in together.
Future plans include:
- A professionally designed SENT Course Workbook
- Expanded lesson content and teaching guides
- Weekly gatherings with in-depth biblical instruction
- Small group discussions that encourage accountability and spiritual growth
- Practical evangelism assignments throughout the week
- Interactive workshops and role-playing exercises
- Dedicated prayer and mentoring opportunities
- Weekly outreach experiences that reinforce each lesson
- Resources that can be used by churches and ministry leaders to equip their own congregations
We envision believers gathering each week to learn together, encourage one another, ask questions, practice sharing the Gospel, then go into their communities to live out what they've learned.
Our prayer is that The SENT Course becomes a ministry resource that helps equip Christians not only in Dallas, but wherever God opens doors for this training to be used.
